Support Staff at Sheridan College on Strike
As of September 1, the support staff, which range from classroom technologists to clerical support, are on strike at the Trafalgar campus of Sheridan College.
The Child Care Centres will be closed for the duration of the strike, which could prove very disruptive for many people who rely on this service. The locations which offer child care services include Trafalgar Road campus, their Montessori Preschool Centre and the Mississauga Civic Centre Child Care Centre.
The school wishes to communicate that classes will process as scheduled, and have posted guidelines to consider when crossing a picket line. You can read them here: Guidelines for crossing a picket line.
